One sunny afternoon in the jungle, Mizzo the monkey spotted a big, golden mango on a tree branch. “Wow! My favorite fruit! I can’t wait to eat it,” Mizzo exclaimed with joy while swinging down quickly.
But when he reached the branch… the mango was gone!
“Where did it go?” Mizzo scratched his head, looking confused. He looked left, right, and upside down!

Just then, Pocco the parrot flew by.
“Looking for something, Mizzo?” Pocco chirped.
“Yes! I lost my juicy mango!”

Pocco giggled. “Maybe you should ask nicely. The jungle is full of friends, not thieves!”
So, Mizzo went to Zuffo the zebra.
“Zuffo, did you see my mango?”
Zuffo shook his head. “No, Mizzo. But I saw Nutty Nini the squirrel carrying something shiny toward the big rock.”
Mizzo rushed there, but instead of scolding, he said kindly:
“Nini, did you find a mango? It might be mine.”

Nutty Nini’s cheeks turned red.
“Oh! I thought it fell down. I was keeping it safe for you!” she squeaked.

Mizzo smiled, “Thank you, Nini. You’re a good friend for keeping it safe!”
Then he broke the mango into two pieces.
“Let’s share it together!”
And they both munched happily under the mango tree.
Moral of the Story
When something goes missing, don’t get angry. Ask kindly and share happily! A mango tastes sweeter when enjoyed together.
